ChatGPT and other AI tools cannot find most SMEs - AIMSOO solves that problem

Singapore, February 2026, Multipole AI, an AI marketing consultancy and adtech startup builder focused on AI-based marketing and advertising, has formally launched AIMSOO.AI , a free global platform that enables SMEs to be discovered in any AI based search tool, like ChatGPT, Google's Gemini and Perplexity.

The platform, AIMSOO, was developed and created by former Google APAC Director Martin Bertilsson, senior AI application software engineer Jin Pei Ng and former Google APAC marketplace and programmatic leader Paul Huynh.

The problem they are solving is that there are 350 million small businesses globally and the majority simply don't show up at all when users search in AI-search tools. If they do show up, it is often a distorted representation of a scrape from a third party site or government database. Small businesses everywhere are already losing business because of this.

AIMSOO enables any business to create an AI-friendly listing and lets any SME put in any relevant information whereafter AIMSOO verifies and builds an AI-ready profile so that the major AI search platforms and the next wave of AI agents and assistants can recommend the SME with confidence. The sign up process is simple, free and businesses do not have to provide code or a website. They simply provide information about their business, get verified and AIMSOO makes that information available to all AI-tools and players.

Online commerce is projected to reach US$65 trillion by 2030 and discovery and transactions are increasingly shifting into AI-powered interfaces. As that shift accelerates, small businesses that are not visible or accurately represented risk being excluded from how customers find and choose sellers. AIMSOO is built to ensure SMEs can participate in this next phase of digital commerce rather than be left behind by it.

"With more than one billion customers around the world using tools other than Google and Facebook, listing a business just with them is no longer sufficient. Small businesses are losing out on customers who in turn get sub-standard information from their AI-tools and searches. AIMSOO solves this three-way problem in a simple, free and quick solution. Visibility in AI is crucial to business success in the emerging new version of the commercial internet and this is a key piece needed for all business, including the SMEs that are the backbone of all economies." said CEO Martin Bertilsson,

Full Integration With AI Platforms

The AIMSOO platform enables major AI platforms ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Anthropic's Claude, Grok, Microsoft's CoPilot and Deepseek to ingest its data and provide the right answers to questions. This improves their services and gives their users a better experience whilst at the same time providing SMEs with more opportunity to expand their customer base.

For SMEs that operate their own website, the platform also provides analysis and tools to improve and increase visibility and presence in AI-search, including the new AEO and GEO platforms.

"GEO-tools have garnered massive interest this year as traffic to publishers and other websites plummet due to AI/LLMs not sending traffic like blue like search used to. Offering a basic free service to all companies, regardless of size, so that they can compete is crucial and is of huge value. The hard part has been building something that is easy to use and ensuring that SMEs don't need a consultant or their own tech department." said CTO Jin Pei Ng.

Chief Revenue Officer Paul Huynh added that as AI-driven discovery expands, a growing share of online transactions will be mediated through AI-commerce and transaction protocols. This new AI peer-to-peer style of business will revolutionise how customers interact with all businesses and it is crucial that SMEs have simple and effective tools that enable them to win in this space.

AIMSOO's advisers include a raft of industry veterans and experts such as, Adam Coates a former Managing Director at Google, former head of Data at Canva Wendy Glasgow, CEO of DSP Xtend Karam Malhotra as well as Suni Nair, a founder of the AI Video company Clairva.

About Multipole AI and AIMSOO

Multipole AI is a Singapore-based technology company building the future of AI-driven visibility for small and medium businesses. The company's first business platform is AIMSOO, a live data platform that lets local businesses update their information once and automatically distribute it across LLMs, search platforms, maps and digital directories. AIMSOO solves the "last-mile data" problem by making real-time business information accessible to AI. Founded by industry veterans from Google and leading ad-tech companies, Multipole AI focuses on helping small businesses stay discoverable in an AI-first world.

Multipole's core thesis is that SMEs are an underserved constituency in the marketing space already. Often constrained by costs and time. AI changes that. It becomes possible to simply and affordably provide them with tools and functionality previously only available to larger corporations. Anyone can now have professional grade online marketing and Multipole's focus is to be part of the ecosystem that provides this to SMEs.
